b.1980 Michiko Tsuda's works have been showed widely in Japan and also internationally in exhibitions such as “Berkeley Big Bang 08” at Berkeley Art Museum and “version beta” at Saint Gervais Geneve and more. Tsuda has been pursuing a rigorous investigation into the internal reflections of media technology, how can this technology reflect upon itself? Tsuda is currently taking Ph.D course in Film and New Media at Tokyo National University of the Arts. “Where are you?” Tsuda here pursues a questioning of what media technologies make hidden or revealed. Experimenting the relationship between the view of the camera and the fragmented self, Tsuda creates a performative space which inverts the media form back upon itself.
